The Granville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyril Champagne should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute, Jan Stanley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cyril Champagne was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 12th minute, Jan Stanley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shahin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Deangelo Winslow put in a rough tackle. 15 minutes into the game, one of Shahin FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Granville a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Shayne Whitten, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Shahin FC's Young Melton. 3-1. After 20 played minutes Shahin FC got a freekick which was hit by Adam Hurd. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Landon Story in the 21st managed to get into a good position. Young Melton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the last second Cyril Champagne throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tyree Matlock in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Shahin FC's zone, Emmitt Lebrun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Young Melton came out of the goal and Emmitt Lebrun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Shayne Whitten fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granville's protests and gave Shayne Whitten a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Granville got a freekick which was hit by Shayne Whitten. In the 37th minute, Shahin FC's Valentin Benavides ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cyril Champagne. Cyril Champagne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Benavides in the 41st minute of play forced Granville's goalkeeper Cyril Champagne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyree Matlock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyril Champagne having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Granville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hobert Davidson to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmitt Lebrun to strike the kick off in the second half. If Emmitt Lebrun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Granville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Griffith to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Emmitt Lebrun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Young Melton, 4-3. Shahin FC's attentive Edwin Shea managed to snatch the ball when Shayne Whitten made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. If Valentin Benavides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan Stanley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cyril Champagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Granville getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Théophile Porter hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyree Matlock in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cyril Champagne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shahin FC! After having played for 81 minutes, Emmitt Lebrun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmitt Lebrun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Shahin FC's goalkeeper Young Melton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Landon Story. In the 85th minute, Landon Story reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Young Melton. The goal made the score 5-5.
