Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emmitt Lebrun kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Ceylon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandy Rowell to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Emmitt Lebrun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodème Cortes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 11th minute, Landon Story reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicodème Cortes. The goal made the score 2-0. Cyril Champagne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thaddeus Mejia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emmitt Lebrun got free with Nicodème Cortes in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Emmitt Lebrun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 27 minutes into the match, Granville's Théophile Porter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicodème Cortes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Granville's Cyril Champagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalton Reynolds in the 32nd minute of play. Théophile Porter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodème Cortes having to interfere. When Emmitt Lebrun came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Granville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmitt Lebrun couldn't finish the play. Théophile Porter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute, Thaddeus Mejia made a precise shot to the right of Cyril Champagne. Granville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Cyril Champagne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thaddeus Mejia in the 63rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ceylon AFC's Benedict Moses tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emmitt Lebrun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicodème Cortes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Granville's Landon Story made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicodème Cortes was left in no man's land by his defense there!
