Dalton Reynolds's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melvin Fluet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Thaddeus Mejia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melvin Fluet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thaddeus Mejia's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Dalton Reynolds struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wolf Pack Elite Force FC's zone, Dalton Reynolds stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melvin Fluet came out of the goal and Dalton Reynolds tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thaddeus Mejia in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melvin Fluet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justin Cohen's late challenge caught a Ceylon AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justin Cohen helped the player get up and apologised. Justin Cohen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Nazaire Fitch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceylon AFC and the Wolf Pack Elite Force FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Thaddeus Mejia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
