Iker Cloyo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Mose McLeod's late challenge caught a Granville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mose McLeod helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Liberty FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mose McLeod hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Shayne Whitten sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Liberty FC's Stamatis Saltiris didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

A collision led to Granville getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emanuel McLain hit a great ball. Stamatis Saltiris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emmitt Lebrun in the 56th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmitt Lebrun couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Liberty FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shayne Whitten was slow to take the kick. During this time Granville's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Shayne Whitten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Liberty FC's Stamatis Saltiris did a great save. 75 minutes into the match, Avery Knight notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Liberty FC's Stamatis Saltiris. Stamatis Saltiris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Liberty FC's Stamatis Saltiris got control of the ball when Shayne Whitten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iker Cloyo's late challenge caught a Granville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lou Hawk kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Liberty FC's goalkeeper Stamatis Saltiris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Landon Story. Landon Story took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stamatis Saltiris. Stamatis Saltiris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Granville left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Liberty FC.
