Ahmed Leach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The C.S.M. Resita fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when C.S.M. Resita's Chong Lamontagne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Chong Lamontagne put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmed Leach. After a defensive mix-up in Hilliers's zone, Chong Lamontagne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Leach came out of the goal and Chong Lamontagne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Chong Lamontagne made a precise shot to the right of Ahmed Leach. Hilliers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Ahmed Leach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chong Lamontagne went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.M. Resita's zone, Félix Odom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garrett Gladu came out of the goal and Félix Odom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chong Lamontagne made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Chong Lamontagne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Ahmed Leach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute, C.S.M. Resita's Chong Lamontagne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmed Leach. Ahmed Leach yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Chong Lamontagne scored 0-11 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmed Leach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Ahmed Leach managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when C.S.M. Resita's Chong Lamontagne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. C.S.M. Resita's Garrett Gladu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecil Gonzalez in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Chong Lamontagne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Leach was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. With a little luck, Hilliers's Ahmed Leach got control of the ball when Juliusz Szostak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Mariano Lott made a precise shot to the right of Ahmed Leach. Hilliers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. When Lorenzo Ott fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.S.M. Resita's protests and gave Lorenzo Ott a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Ott kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ahmed Leach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chong Lamontagne went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-15 was the resulting score. A hard shot 92 in the game by Chong Lamontagne from a close distance when the talented Ahmed Leach managed to make a qualified save. Hilliers's players were relieved. Ahmed Leach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy Cahill in the 93rd minute of play. When the match was over C.S.M. Resita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hilliers throughout the match.
