After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Amos Hopkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Josef MacDonald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josef MacDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Coupart in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Hopkins in the 10th minute of play forced Rakow Czestochowa's goalkeeper Josef MacDonald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Granger lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 13 played minutes Hurricanes FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Granger. 14 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Ahmet Hayri Vedat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitchell Cantu. Sherwood Spencer charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sherwood Spencer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hurricanes FC's Sherwood Spencer got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Ahmet Hayri Vedat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitchell Cantu. Josef MacDonald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Coupart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rickie Bourque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef MacDonald having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Rakow Czestochowa's Mitchell Cantu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Hayri Vedat. Ahmet Hayri Vedat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mitchell Cantu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ahmet Hayri Vedat made a huge save. Rickie Bourque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josef MacDonald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rakow Czestochowa's goalkeeper Josef MacDonald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josef MacDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Rader, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Rakow Czestochowa's Josef MacDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Coupart in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles McKinney in the 48th minute of play forced Rakow Czestochowa's goalkeeper Josef MacDonald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthieu Mills stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rickie Bourque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Rakow Czestochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazaire Klein to maneuver through the defense. When Jonah Neely fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rakow Czestochowa's protests and gave Jonah Neely a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rakow Czestochowa's Jonah Neely got a free kick in the 58th minute. Rakow Czestochowa's Josef MacDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles McKinney in the 60th minute of play. Matthieu Mills's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Hayri Vedat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Alfredo Larsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef MacDonald having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Charles McKinney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rakow Czestochowa's Josef MacDonald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Rakow Czestochowa from getting a goal against them. Rickie Bourque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Josef MacDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickie Bourque took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josef MacDonald. Josef MacDonald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Josef MacDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Coupart in the 94th minute of play. A well done corner resulted in Charles McKinney drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind Rakow Czestochowa's goalkeeper. When the match was over Hurricanes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rakow Czestochowa throughout the match.
