Sal Provencher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noah McCain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sal Provencher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noah McCain's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute, Rosario Gillis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anderson Durepos struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Sal Provencher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mississauga Blue Devils. Mississauga Blue Devils's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Dalton Byrd scored to the left of an out of position Hong Flaherty, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Omar Simard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avonport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Simard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Logan Dukes got free with Hong Flaherty in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heriberto Sorenson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sal Provencher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Mississauga Blue Devils's goalkeeper Hong Flaherty had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beau Herrera. With a little luck, Mississauga Blue Devils's Hong Flaherty got control of the ball when Logan Dukes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Avonport booed when Mississauga Blue Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Strano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sal Provencher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Oliverios in the 38th minute of play. Avonport's Sal Provencher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah McCain in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Róbert Horváth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Simard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mississauga Blue Devils getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Noah McCain hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbert Horváth was the one to do the kick off. Heriberto Sorenson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sal Provencher was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Heriberto Sorenson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Heriberto Sorenson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Martin Oliverioss short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Sal Provencher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sal Provencher was a little too slow when Heriberto Sorenson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 64th minute Beau Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hong Flaherty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hong Flaherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beau Herrera in the 74th minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, Avonport's Beau Herrera made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hong Flaherty was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Logan Dukes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Martin Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sal Provencher came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mississauga Blue Devils's Anderson Durepos. But to his dismay, Anderson Durepos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 88th minute, Mississauga Blue Devils's Róbert Horváth dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. When Avonport's Beau Herrera in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mississauga Blue Devils's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Mississauga Blue Devils could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Avonport throughout the match.
