In the 2nd match minute, Portage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Benson to maneuver through the defense. Cornelius Spicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Malone in the 6th minute of play. If Bobbie Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jonathan Mayfield came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC Furious fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Mayfield couldn't finish the play. Carrol Cordero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nelson Wynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Furious were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Portage's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanton Stinson took the corner. Jeffrey Malone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cornelius Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Portage booed when FC Furious was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Titus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portage's Jeffrey Malone got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Furious's Cornelius Spicer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobbie Paul in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Antwan Culver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cornelius Spicer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Leo Titus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, Jeffrey Malone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cornelius Spicer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Portage's Nelson Wynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Mayfield in the 47th minute of play. The FC Furious players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portage were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Mayfield made a kick off. Jeffrey Malone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cornelius Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jeffrey Malone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Portage's Cornelius Spicer threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bobbie Paul, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Leo Titus was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. After 57 played minutes FC Furious got a freekick which was hit by Leo Titus. Jeffrey Malone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cornelius Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeffrey Malone got free with Cornelius Spicer in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the game, Bobbie Paul recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelius Spicer. Bobbie Paul showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 76th minute Bobbie Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelius Spicer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carrol Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Wynn having to interfere. FC Furious's Leland Parham got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carrol Cordero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nelson Wynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Carrol Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Furious's supporters rose to their feet, but Carrol Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Wynn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Portage's Reggie Light got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 87 minutes, Jonathan Mayfield mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Furious and the Portage players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Furious getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jonathan Mayfield hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dick Dionne during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, FC Furious was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Dionne to maneuver through the defense. Antwan Culver missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Cornelius Spicer right hand side. The Portage players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
