Seating: 1963, VIP seats: 170) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Félix Gaillou got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Bass Elites's goalkeeper Witomir Szel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cletus Laux. Otha Moreland struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Carlos Arsenault didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bass Elites. A collision led to Bass Elites getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Donovan Lehman hit a great ball. With his leg Witomir Szel managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when River Plate Mtl's Derek Weston fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22nd minute of the match Jewel Fontaine shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Witomir Szel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, River Plate Mtl's Ross Patten got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Félix Gaillou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bass Elites's supporters rose to their feet, but Félix Gaillou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Arsenault breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes Bass Elites got a freekick which was hit by Sylvain Manning. In the 30th minute, Félix Gaillou made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Arsenault. River Plate Mtl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the River Plate Mtl defense, Michale Stephens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Arsenault. The River Plate Mtl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Arsenault should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Derek Weston managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate Mtl's supporters rose to their feet, but Derek Weston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witomir Szel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Arsenault dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When River Plate Mtl's Derek Weston in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bass Elites's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
Donovan Lehman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Arsenault made an important save on a dangerous shot by Félix Gaillou in the 52nd minute. Carlos Arsenault didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Félix Gaillou went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Witomir Szel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leroy Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Arsenault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félix Gaillou, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Otha Moreland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leroy Dalton struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Witomir Szel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate Mtl. In the 73rd minute, Donovan Lehman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 73rd minute Félix Gaillou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Arsenault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winston Guevara charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Winston Guevara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bass Elites booed when River Plate Mtl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winston Guevara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Félix Gaillou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Carlos Arsenault made a huge save. After 85 played minutes River Plate Mtl got a freekick which was hit by Ross Patten. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Derek Weston managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate Mtl's supporters rose to their feet, but Derek Weston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witomir Szel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. River Plate Mtl's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Donovan Lehman scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Arsenault, making the score, 2-5. When the final whistle sounded Bass Elites left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than River Plate Mtl.
