After having played for 18 minutes, Régis Holmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terrebonne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Holmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amédée Guinn in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Wynn saved Portage from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Terrebonne's Amédée Guinn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelson Wynn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Portage defense, Régis Holmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson Wynn. The Portage fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson Wynn should have stopped the shot. Eduardo Clinton kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Terrebonne's Aristide Moody broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Amédée Guinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Régis Holmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Régis Holmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Terrebonne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Nelson Wynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Nicodème Dejesus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portage's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terrebonne the free kick. A collision led to Portage getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Nicodème Dejesus hit a great ball. After 94 minutes of play, Terrebonne's Régis Holmes made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Wynn was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Terrebonne players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
