Félix Gaillou might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelson Wynn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Félix Gaillou ran back to his position shaking his head. Nelson Wynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félix Gaillou, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Portage's Nelson Wynn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Portage from getting a goal against them. With his leg Nelson Wynn managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Bass Elites's Félix Gaillou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mike Day lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Portage:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bass Elites:s goal. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Bass Elites's Benny Stern got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nelson Wynn. Portage's Nelson Wynn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Portage from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Félix Gaillou got free with Nelson Wynn in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Félix Gaillou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelson Wynn having to make a save. Portage's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Donovan Lehman scored to the left of an out of position Nelson Wynn, making the score, 3-0. In the 46thth minute of the game Félix Gaillou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portage's Nelson Wynn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeffrey Malone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Bass Elites was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Gaillou to maneuver through the defense. The Bass Elites fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Bass Elites's Félix Gaillou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 61st minute Félix Gaillou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Wynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Bass Elites players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
