Ortrami's supporters rose to their feet, but Jedrzej Tyski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Wynn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Haluk Songur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nelson Wynn, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garland Bryan during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Garland Bryan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Désiré Rudd took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joos Teurfs. Ortrami's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Garland Bryan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Nelson Wynn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nelson Wynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Tyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Reggie Light charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reggie Light the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Portage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reggie Light to maneuver through the defense. Garland Bryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joos Teurfs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbie Paul in the 26th minute of play. Nelson Wynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garland Bryan in the 28th minute of play. If Jeffrey Malone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Haluk Songur fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Joos Teurfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Malone in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Garland Bryan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antwan Burnett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Nelson Wynn made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antwan Burnett to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Tyski in the 53rd minute of play forced Portage's goalkeeper Nelson Wynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Portage getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Reggie Light hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederick Laws during the 54th minute. With a little luck, Ortrami's Joos Teurfs got control of the ball when Jeffrey Malone tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 61st minute of the match Garland Bryan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Garland Bryan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Désiré Rudd took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joos Teurfs. Ortrami's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th minute, Jedrzej Tyski made a precise shot to the right of Nelson Wynn. Portage's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Antwan Burnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Wynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Tyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portage's Nelson Wynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Tyski in the 73rd minute of play. Jedrzej Tyski struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nelson Wynn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ortrami. 75 minutes into the match, Jedrzej Tyski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Wynn. Portage's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jedrzej Tyski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Nelson Wynn came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ortrami's Haluk Songur. But to his dismay, Haluk Songur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Antwan Burnett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Haluk Songur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Jedrzej Tyski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ortrami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 89 minutes into the match, Ortrami's goal looked a bit too open when Bobbie Paul came free, but Joos Teurfs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Wynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antwan Burnett in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Jedrzej Tyski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ortrami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jedrzej Tyski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ortrami walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
