Spectators: 8405 (Terracing: 6304, Seating: 1933, VIP seats: 168) The Dover fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Dover's Rosendo King looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rosendo King hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Bobbie Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosendo King in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Wynn saved Portage from getting behind. A collision led to Portage getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Reggie Light hit a great ball. Nelson Wynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Collin Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes of play, Dover's Collin Pacheco made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Wynn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosendo King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Portage's Nelson Wynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo King in the 34th minute of play. Collin Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Wynn having to interfere. Cyrille Grove yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Collin Pacheco in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Wynn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo King in the 46th minute of play forced Portage's goalkeeper Nelson Wynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosendo King stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Portage getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Reggie Light hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Collin Pacheco notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Portage's Nelson Wynn. Nelson Wynn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Dover's Joan Pham got a free kick in the 58th minute. Antwan Culver charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antwan Culver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Collin Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nelson Wynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Portage's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo King came free, but Nelson Wynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Nelson Wynn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rosendo King in the 73rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Portage's Antwan Culver got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute, Rosendo King ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Wynn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Dorian Putnam took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nelson Wynn. Portage's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute of the match, Collin Pacheco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nelson Wynn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nelson Wynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo King in the 96th minute of the match. Collin Pacheco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Dover's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the final whistle sounded Dover left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Portage.
