Jonathan Mayfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Xavier Webb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelius Spicer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Sellers in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Merlin Sellers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Scotias Finest's supporters rose to their feet, but Merlin Sellers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelius Spicer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cornelius Spicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Sellers in the 38th minute of play. Gérard Dionne struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Cornelius Spicer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Scotias Finest. Merlin Sellers might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelius Spicer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merlin Sellers ran back to his position shaking his head. The FC Furious players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nova Scotias Finest were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Jonathan Mayfield made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Furious's Cornelius Spicer got control of the ball when Arnulfo Moyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leland Parham kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Leo Titus fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Furious's protests and gave Leo Titus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Furious getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leo Titus hit a great ball. Johnie McGill was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Merlin Sellers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cornelius Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Gérard Dionne notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Furious's Cornelius Spicer. Cornelius Spicer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cornelius Spicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gérard Dionne in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes FC Furious got a freekick which was hit by Leland Parham. Merlin Sellers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Cornelius Spicer made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gérard Dionne in the 70th minute of play forced FC Furious's goalkeeper Cornelius Spicer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Cornelius Spicer managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Nova Scotias Finest's Merlin Sellers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Merlin Sellers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nova Scotias Finest's Gérard Dionne in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Furious's goalie prevented a goal. FC Furious's Cornelius Spicer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Furious from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute of the match, Merlin Sellers got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cornelius Spicer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cornelius Spicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gérard Dionne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Furious's Leo Titus got a free kick in the 91st minute. Cornelius Spicer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merlin Sellers in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Jonathan Mayfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Furious fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nova Scotias Finest were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
