An unexpectedly hard shot by Antwan Burnett in the 4th minute of play forced River Plate Mtl's goalkeeper Carlos Arsenault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Haluk Songur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Arsenault. River Plate Mtl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haluk Songur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Dalton got free with Joos Teurfs in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Tyski in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Antwan Burnett notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault. Carlos Arsenault was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18thth minute of the game Jedrzej Tyski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Arsenault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haluk Songur, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Jedrzej Tyski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ortrami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 23 minutes of play, Ortrami's Jedrzej Tyski made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Arsenault was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Derek Weston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate Mtl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ortrami the free kick. In the 26th match minute, River Plate Mtl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derek Weston to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Arsenault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Tyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Winston Guevara hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to River Plate Mtl getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gayle Petty hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derek Weston was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Arsenault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antwan Burnett in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Ortrami's goal looked a bit too open when Winston Guevara came free, but Joos Teurfs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ortrami's Joos Teurfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Weston in the 61st minute of play. If Fernando Strong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jedrzej Tyski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes in the game, Haluk Songur fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carlos Arsenault having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antwan Burnett got free with Carlos Arsenault in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, River Plate Mtl's Carlos Arsenault got control of the ball when Antwan Burnett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haluk Songur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Carlos Arsenault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haluk Songur might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Arsenault. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haluk Songur ran back to his position shaking his head. When Philip Leal fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ortrami's protests and gave Philip Leal a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Ortrami got a freekick which was hit by Philip Leal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ortrami's goalkeeper Joos Teurfs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joos Teurfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Strong in the 88th minute of the match. Ortrami's Joos Teurfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Weston in the 89th minute of play. Joos Teurfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Weston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Gayle Petty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joos Teurfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Weston, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The River Plate Mtl supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ortrami's performance. The match ended with a win for Ortrami.
