Philip Manley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donte Rancourt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Livingston to make the kick off. Donte Rancourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Manley in the 52nd minute of the match. If Royce Connolly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Andres Booth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Furious's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ManchestercityBlues the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of FC Furious:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ManchestercityBlues:s goal. The referee gave ManchestercityBlues a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ervin Maher, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Furious's Donte Rancourt. 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, FC Furious's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Manley came free, but Donte Rancourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Manley might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donte Rancourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philip Manley ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrien Rodrigues during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Furious! Donte Rancourt went to the wrong direction when Ervin Maher was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 75th minute Royce Connolly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donte Rancourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ManchestercityBlues's Philip Manley got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Royce Connolly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donte Rancourt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Royce Connolly's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Royce Connolly in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donte Rancourt saved FC Furious from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 99th minute by Dean Benedict got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Renard Vance made a fantastic save in the 103rd minute, when Dean Benedict sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ManchestercityBlues fully deserved thier win.
