Siim Rodin went to the cornerflag to take it. Ariel Dupre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Witomir Szel made a huge save. Augustus Combs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witomir Szel having to interfere. Ariel Dupre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Augustus Combs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Witomir Szel made a huge save. Ariel Dupre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witomir Szel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Witomir Szel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Witomir Szel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Dupre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bass Elites players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CS Impact de Montreal.
