Spectators: 8512 (Terracing: 6385, Seating: 1957, VIP seats: 170) FlashBobcat's Taylor Head started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Santos Blum came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FlashBobcat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Blum couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taylor Head in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Paquette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demarcus Mott in the 10th minute of play forced FlashBobcat's goalkeeper Jackie Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Santos Blum managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlashBobcat's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Blum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Paquette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Terrell Burnett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Paquette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, FlashBobcat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taylor Head to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, FlashBobcat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Williams Atwood to maneuver through the defense. Olivier Lambert struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jackie Lambert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mississauga DareDevils. 19 minutes into the match, FlashBobcat's goal looked a bit too open when Demarcus Mott came free, but Jackie Lambert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Chas Franks fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FlashBobcat's protests and gave Chas Franks a yellow card for diving instead. Jackie Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Xiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Valentin Xiong's late challenge caught a FlashBobcat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Xiong helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FlashBobcat booed when Mississauga DareDevils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Xiong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jackie Lambert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demarcus Mott in the 29th minute. Lyman Leach kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. FlashBobcat's Jackie Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demarcus Mott in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mississauga DareDevils's zone, Trenton Tremblay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Paquette came out of the goal and Trenton Tremblay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Mississauga DareDevils booed when FlashBobcat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taylor Head didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jackie Lambert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demarcus Mott in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, FlashBobcat's goalkeeper Jackie Lambert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demarcus Mott. Mississauga DareDevils's Panait Semeghin pulled a muscle in his back after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 44 minutes into the game, Clarence Hurst was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FlashBobcat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mississauga DareDevils the free kick. Mississauga DareDevils's Linwood Metz was substituted for Panait Semeghin. Clarence Hurst kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Xiong was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Terrell Burnett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FlashBobcat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jackie Lambert came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Mississauga DareDevils's Valentin Xiong. But to his dismay, Valentin Xiong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Valentin Xiong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jackie Lambert having to interfere. Jackie Lambert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grady Dupre in the 61st minute of play. Trenton Tremblay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Grady Dupre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mississauga DareDevils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Valentin Xiong took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jackie Lambert. Jackie Lambert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Mississauga DareDevils walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
