In the 11th minute, FlashBobcat's Emmanuel Vadnais seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emmanuel Vadnais the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FlashBobcat protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emmanuel Vadnais had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of FlashBobcat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vancouver AFC:s goal. Terrell Burnett hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Jackie Lambert was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roman Dawkins. Marcel Valle took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jackie Lambert. Jackie Lambert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jackie Lambert made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Anibal Watson sent off a good shot on target. Jackie Lambert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Dawkins in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Vancouver AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Trenton Tremblay came free, but Olin Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, FlashBobcat's goalkeeper Jackie Lambert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Watson. After a defensive mix-up in Vancouver AFC's zone, Trenton Tremblay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olin Rubio came out of the goal and Trenton Tremblay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Dawkins scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jackie Lambert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, FlashBobcat's Santos Blum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olin Rubio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Trenton Tremblay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FlashBobcat's Jackie Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Watson in the 41st minute of play. Santos Blum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olin Rubio having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Santos Blum was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 53rd minute, Roman Dawkins made a precise shot to the right of Jackie Lambert. FlashBobcat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Dawkins in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jackie Lambert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FlashBobcat getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Terrell Burnett hit a great ball. Jackie Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play, Vancouver AFC's Malcolm Campbell made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jackie Lambert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olin Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Blum, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Marcel Valle fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vancouver AFC's protests and gave Marcel Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Olin Rubio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. 89 minutes into the match, FlashBobcat's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Dawkins came free, but Jackie Lambert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jackie Lambert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Watson in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Roman Dawkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jackie Lambert. FlashBobcat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Dawkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. FlashBobcat's Jackie Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Dawkins in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vancouver AFC had won after a very even match.
