FC Toronto's Jewel Cooke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save FC Toronto from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FC Toronto's zone, Guy Elliott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jewel Cooke came out of the goal and Guy Elliott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mitchel Richmond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jewel Cooke made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Alfonso Davis FC's Bryce Deleon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Mitchel Richmond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Toronto's Jewel Cooke got control of the ball when Jesus Randle tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Toronto getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alvaro Ivy hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Jesus Randle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitchel Richmond's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Jewel Cooke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Bailey got free with Jewel Cooke in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guy Elliott in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jewel Cooke saved FC Toronto from getting behind. Jewel Cooke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tad Sherrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Alfonso Davis FC's Guy Elliott dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 37thth minute of the game Mitchel Richmond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Toronto's Jewel Cooke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mitchel Richmonds short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Jewel Cooke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Alfonso Davis FC booed when FC Toronto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yann Cadieux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Davis FC's Hilton Velez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jewel Cooke but with some difficulty. Mitchel Richmond's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Jewel Cooke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Jewel Cooke managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Alfonso Davis FC's Mitchel Richmond fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Guy Elliott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mitchel Richmond to strike the kick off in the second half. Jewel Cooke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Elliott in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Hilton Velez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jewel Cooke skillfully saved the ball. In the 55th minute, Mitchel Richmond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alfonso Davis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 59 minutes into the match, FC Toronto's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Bailey came free, but Jewel Cooke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claude Decker's late challenge caught a FC Toronto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claude Decker helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Toronto booed when Alfonso Davis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Decker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mitchel Richmond scored 5-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jewel Cooke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Mitchel Richmond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jewel Cooke. FC Toronto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mitchel Richmond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 73rd minute Jesus Randle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jewel Cooke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bryce Deleon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfonso Davis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryce Deleon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jewel Cooke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olen Singh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred McKay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Jewel Cooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryce Deleon in the 84th minute of the match. Mitchel Richmond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jewel Cooke having to interfere. Mitchel Richmond struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jewel Cooke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfonso Davis FC. When the referee ended the match the Alfonso Davis FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
