Colonsay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jules Stringer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allenow's Rémi Meilleur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Allenow from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Colonsay's Jules Stringer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rémi Meilleur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jules Stringer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philbert Bazinet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloi McPherson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Shearer in the 22nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Jules Stringer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rémi Meilleur to make any attempt to save it. Rémi Meilleur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Fitzgerald in the 36th minute. Isidro Fitzgerald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rémi Meilleur having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jules Stringer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rémi Meilleur was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Allenow's Rémi Meilleur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Allenow from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philbert Bazinet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armand Shearer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Eloi McPherson made a huge save. Rémi Meilleur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jules Stringer's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Rémi Meilleur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jules Stringer in the 72nd minute of the match. Armand Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Fitzgerald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rémi Meilleur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloi McPherson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philbert Bazinet in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Colonsay defense, Paschal Tillman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloi McPherson. The Colonsay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloi McPherson should have stopped the shot.
