Toronto Bulls's Constant Louineaux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Toronto Bulls from getting a goal against them. Constant Louineaux made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ignacio Gregory sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Bergland:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Toronto Bulls:s goal. The referee gave Toronto Bulls a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Harris Rollins, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bergland's Theo Parham. 0-1. Harris Rollins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean Lafontaine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milford Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Parham having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Loren Hatfield mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toronto Bulls and the Bergland players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Toronto Bulls getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Loren Hatfield hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Sherman Harrington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constant Louineaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Toronto Bulls's goalkeeper Constant Louineaux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Timmons. The supporters of Bergland booed when Toronto Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will FresneFrêne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constant Louineaux was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bo Timmons showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. Bergland's Bo Timmons was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Milford Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Parham having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Loren Hatfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toronto Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loren Hatfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toronto Bulls's Constant Louineaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Dailey in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sherman Harrington to make the kick off. Ezra Ohara hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Bo Timmons's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constant Louineaux was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. It was beautiful to see Bergland's Arnoldo Beaujolie in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 67 minutes, Neil French mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergland and the Toronto Bulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Toronto Bulls booed when Bergland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil French didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constant Louineaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherman Harrington in the 78th minute of play. Theo Parham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrell Moody in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Bergland got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Gregory. Toronto Bulls's Constant Louineaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Timmons in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Toronto Bulls's Darrell Moody dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Theo Parham made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Harris Rollins sent off a good shot on target. Despite being the better team, Toronto Bulls failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
