Spectators: 8490 (Terracing: 6368, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) Montréal City's Mario Fecteau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Arctique F.C.'s Augustin Jernigan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elliott Jarrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Elliott Jarrett came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Arctique F.C.'s Augustin Jernigan. But to his dismay, Augustin Jernigan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Emil Roussel made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eustache Mabry immediately put the ball in play. Augustin Jernigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Jarrett having to interfere. Toby Lagueux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Jarrett having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Arctique F.C.'s Augustin Jernigan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliott Jarrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augustin Jernigan took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliott Jarrett. Elliott Jarrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Augustin Jernigan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dong Mitchell kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Jernigan to make the kick off. Augustin Jernigan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Augustin Jernigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliott Jarrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Jernigan's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Augustin Jernigan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Elliott Jarrett made a huge save. Montréal City's Elliott Jarrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Lagueux in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Jernigan in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elliott Jarrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Augustin Jernigan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elliott Jarrett was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Augustin Jernigan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Augustin Jernigan took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Elliott Jarrett to make any attempt to save it. Arctique F.C. played a much better game than Montréal City and deserved their victory. The Montréal City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
