Lloyd Lovell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Constant Louineaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milford Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Elliott Jarrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jean Lafontaine came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Toronto Bulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Lafontaine couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jean Lafontaine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toronto Bulls's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Lafontaine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliott Jarrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlton Bean charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlton Bean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Montréal City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlton Bean to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Milford Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliott Jarrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Lafontaine in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliott Jarrett saved Montréal City from getting behind. Elliott Jarrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Lafontaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Montréal City booed when Toronto Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will FresneFrêne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Milford Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harris Rollins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Harris Rollins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elliott Jarrett. That made the score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. A collision led to Montréal City getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jake Roe hit a great ball. Jean Lafontaine received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elliott Jarrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Jean Lafontaine slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Harris Rollins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elliott Jarrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Lafontaine in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Coupart during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Toronto Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Tom Coupart. Grady Richmond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constant Louineaux having to interfere. Julius Plante hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Elliott Jarrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Lafontaine in the 83rd minute. Milford Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elliott Jarrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Jarrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harris Rollins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 91 minute of play. Elliott Jarrett made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Jean Lafontaine sent off a good shot on target. Elliott Jarrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harris Rollins in the 96th minute of play. The Toronto Bulls players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
