Elliott Jarrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcellin Létourneau showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Harlan Simmons was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. KaanArya FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Montréal City getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Carlton Bean hit a great ball. Marcellin Létourneau took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliott Jarrett. Elliott Jarrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Elliott Jarrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcellin Létourneau, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Lloyd Lovell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montréal City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KaanArya FC the free kick. In the 41st minute, Lloyd Lovell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcellin Létourneau in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elliott Jarrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 minutes, Dong Mitchell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montréal City and the KaanArya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Montréal City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dong Mitchell to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcellin Létourneau was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Reginald Woods shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Jarrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Reginald Woods's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elliott Jarrett was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Marcellin Létourneau scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elliott Jarrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grady Richmond during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The tension between the Montréal City and the KaanArya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elliott Jarrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcellin Létourneau's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Félix Fischer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elliott Jarrett. Montréal City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Félix Fischer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 95th minute, Marcellin Létourneau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KaanArya FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
