Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Chad Boyd made the kick off which started today's match. Neil Moquin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Grondin having to interfere. Chad Boyd took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dexter Duke. Dexter Duke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Clair Hayes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lincoln Grondin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Hercule Redd dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lincoln Grondin, 1-1. Chad Boyd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dexter Duke having to make a save. Wes Calhoun might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dexter Duke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wes Calhoun ran back to his position shaking his head. When Chad Boyd came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Olympiakos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chad Boyd couldn't finish the play. Chad Boyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dexter Duke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chad Boyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Chad Boyd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Harvey Beebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Chad Boyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Jays SC's zone, Wes Calhoun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dexter Duke came out of the goal and Wes Calhoun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clair Hayes was the one to do the kick off. Dexter Duke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don Whaley in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, Blue Jays SC's goalkeeper Dexter Duke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wes Calhoun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chad Boyd in the 65th minute of play forced Blue Jays SC's goalkeeper Dexter Duke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Blue Jays SC's goal looked a bit too open when Chad Boyd came free, but Dexter Duke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Blue Jays SC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Rutledge. If Chad Boyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81stth minute of the game Clair Hayes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympiakos's Lincoln Grondin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th play minute Wes Calhoun came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dexter Duke. 1-3. In the 91st minute Neil Moquin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lincoln Grondin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blue Jays SC's Dexter Duke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chad Boyd in the 96th minute of play. Olympiakos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
