Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cary Kenney kicked off to start the match. Nelson Cunningham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Justin Gaudreau fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaladar's protests and gave Justin Gaudreau a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wiarton booed when Kaladar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Gaudreau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justin Gaudreau scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fletcher Tillman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aubrey Gunter during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aubrey Gunter hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Kaladar's Gilbert Robertson in action when he in the 23rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Wiarton's Aubrey Gunter got a free kick in the 27th minute. Alton Brian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fletcher Tillman having to interfere. Nelson Cunningham kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cary Kenney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fletcher Tillman was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When Kaladar's Cary Kenney in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wiarton's goalie prevented a goal. A very nice done corner allowed Nelson Cunningham to score against Leland Smallwood in Kaladar's goal. 2-1 after 45 minutes.

After 53 minutes, Nelson Cunningham made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kaladar's Leland Smallwood tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Escobedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leland Smallwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Kaladar got a freekick which was hit by Alton Brian. After 89 played minutes Wiarton got a freekick which was hit by Rene Hawk. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cary Kenney in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fletcher Tillman saved Wiarton from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
