Lincoln Grondin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Olympiakos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Don Whaley hit a great ball. A hard shot 26 in the game by Christopher Rodrigues from a close distance when the talented Lincoln Grondin managed to make a qualified save. Olympiakos's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Olympiakos's zone, Cahir Palmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lincoln Grondin came out of the goal and Cahir Palmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Christopher Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winnipeg Dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christopher Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Christopher Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lincoln Grondin was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christopher Rodrigues to make the kick off. After 55 minutes, Christopher Rodrigues made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Olympiakos's Lincoln Grondin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Don Whaley kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cahir Palmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lincoln Grondin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cahir Palmer ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Rodrigues in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lincoln Grondin saved Olympiakos from getting behind. Aaron Peck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eddy Fay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 67 minute of play. Eddy Fay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Peck having to interfere. Winnipeg Dogs's Colby Decker was substituted for Cary Barger. Lincoln Grondin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cahir Palmer in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Christopher Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lincoln Grondin was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Lincoln Grondin came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Winnipeg Dogs's Cahir Palmer. But to his dismay, Cahir Palmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Lincoln Grondin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cahir Palmer in the 95th minute of play.
