Sébastien McCauley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Barrow in the 3rd minute of the match. Sébastien McCauley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Rodolphe Campos's late challenge caught a FriBeRtz Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolphe Campos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Rodolphe Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodger Dufour took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sébastien McCauley. Ottawa Fury FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Moreland in the 7th minute of play forced Ottawa Fury FC's goalkeeper Sébastien McCauley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Erlantz Astudillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FriBeRtz Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Hassan Barrow notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ottawa Fury FC's Sébastien McCauley. Sébastien McCauley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ottawa Fury FC's Sébastien McCauley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Moreland in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th minute Gordon Moreland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sébastien McCauley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FriBeRtz Football Club's Ferdinand Conklin got control of the ball when Lou Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Erlantz Astudillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Rodolphe Campos got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 41 played minutes Ottawa Fury FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolphe Campos. In the 42nd minute, Erlantz Astudillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FriBeRtz Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Ottawa Fury FC's Sébastien McCauley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Astudillo in the 45th minute of play. After the first half FriBeRtz Football Club were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erlantz Astudillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erlantz Astudillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sébastien McCauley came out and tried to block the shot, but Erlantz Astudillo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 53rd minute. FriBeRtz Football Club were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Ottawa Fury FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodger Dufour took the corner. FriBeRtz Football Club's Terrence Jodoin was substituted for Alonzo Weldon. Sébastien McCauley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassan Barrow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ottawa Fury FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FriBeRtz Football Club the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hassan Barrow got free with Sébastien McCauley in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sébastien McCauley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gordon Moreland in the 86th minute. Lou Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Hassan Barrow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sébastien McCauley. Hassan Barrow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Erlantz Astudillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sébastien McCauley could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Hassan Barrow kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sébastien McCauley. That made the score 0-12 in the 96 minute of play.
