The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Angry Smurfs's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Combs came free, but Loup Worthington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, one of Angry Smurfs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Angry Smurfs. Angry Smurfs:s Loup Worthington showed great skill when he stopped Mitch Browne:s penalty. Loup Worthington came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Moose FC's Mitch Browne. But to his dismay, Mitch Browne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Raymond Combs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Loup Worthington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam Miner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Miner in the 21st minute of play forced Angry Smurfs's goalkeeper Loup Worthington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Joan Jefferson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angry Smurfs and the Moose FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joan Jefferson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When George Simmons fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angry Smurfs's protests and gave George Simmons a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Moose FC. Mitch Browne stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Loup Worthington. 0-3. Abel Jacques's late challenge caught a Angry Smurfs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Jacques helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Jacques kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Emon McCracken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angry Smurfs's supporters rose to their feet, but Emon McCracken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Kitchen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 minutes of play, Moose FC's Raymond Combs made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loup Worthington was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Raymond Combs made a precise shot to the right of Loup Worthington. Angry Smurfs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After having played for 47 minutes, Abel Jacques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moose FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Jacques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Loup Worthington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Miner in the 51st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Moose FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Angry Smurfs:s goal. Jake Kitchen had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping George Simmons's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sam Miner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Moose FC's Sam Miner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loup Worthington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moose FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mitch Browne in the 60th minute. The corner led to Moose FC's Nicodème Covillon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Angry Smurfs's Loup Worthington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Miner in the 63rd minute of play. Bruce Burch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Kitchen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Angry Smurfs's zone, Sam Miner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loup Worthington came out of the goal and Sam Miner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Sam Miner got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Sam Miner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loup Worthington was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Raymond Combs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Loup Worthington made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Moose FC's Sam Miner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loup Worthington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raymond Combs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Loup Worthington skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
