Loup Worthington was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Josue Hood capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josue Hood really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Loup Worthington was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josue Hood showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Josue Hood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loup Worthington having to interfere. Ottawa Fury FC's Sébastien McCauley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Burch in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Emon McCracken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sébastien McCauley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emon McCracken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Angry Smurfs's goal looked a bit too open when Josue Hood came free, but Loup Worthington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emon McCracken kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Josue Hood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loup Worthington having to interfere. Loup Worthington made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lou Miranda sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Angry Smurfs got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Loiseau.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josue Hood to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Josue Hood put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Loup Worthington. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Angry Smurfs's goalkeeper Loup Worthington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Ottawa Fury FC's Josue Hood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loup Worthington made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolphe Campos in the 68th minute of play forced Angry Smurfs's goalkeeper Loup Worthington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emon McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sébastien McCauley came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Angry Smurfs's Emon McCracken. But to his dismay, Emon McCracken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Joan Jefferson's late challenge caught a Ottawa Fury FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joan Jefferson helped the player get up and apologised. When Ottawa Fury FC's Josue Hood in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angry Smurfs's goalie prevented a goal. Loup Worthington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josue Hood, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Joan Jefferson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sébastien McCauley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Angry Smurfs's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolphe Campos came free, but Loup Worthington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loup Worthington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolphe Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Delacruz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Loup Worthington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josue Hood, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Josue Hood struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Loup Worthington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ottawa Fury FC. After a defensive mix-up in Angry Smurfs's zone, Lou Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loup Worthington came out of the goal and Lou Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Ottawa Fury FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
