Tyson Mims was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezra Braxton made a kick off. André Pritchett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Patrik Roeland made a huge save. Despite being the better team, Changsha FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
