Spectators: 8317 (Terracing: 6358, Seating: 1899, VIP seats: 60) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brain Romano kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Toronto FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lenny Berger hit a great ball. Toronto FC's Papillion Cheek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brain Romano in the 8th minute of play. Kyle Souplet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Abraham Mejia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léopold Crain. DOE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Mejia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, DOE FC's goalkeeper Léopold Crain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Mejia. In the 32nd minute, Abraham Mejia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DOE FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abraham Mejia 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Abraham Mejia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Léopold Crain made a huge save. When Léandre McDonald fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DOE FC's protests and gave Léandre McDonald a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to DOE FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Léandre McDonald hit a great ball. Abraham Mejia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Toronto FC booed when DOE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arden Oneill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Papillion Cheek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon Fagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abraham Mejia was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Lenny Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Léopold Crain. DOE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lenny Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Franklyn Courcelle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Papillion Cheek came out and tried to block the shot, but Franklyn Courcelle slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 57th minute. 62 minutes into the game, one of DOE FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Toronto FC. Abraham Mejia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Léopold Crain. 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Mejia in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léopold Crain saved DOE FC from getting behind. Abraham Mejia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in DOE FC's zone, Kyle Souplet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léopold Crain came out of the goal and Kyle Souplet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brandon Fagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
