Spectators: 8403 (Terracing: 6355, Seating: 1948, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quintin Browning started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Kerem Aktürkoglu made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Jöhl. Finnegan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Sadri Süleymanoğlu lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Fabio Jöhl. 15 minutes into the game, Sadri Süleymanoğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Jöhl. Sadri Süleymanoğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Chadwick Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenic Archambault having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Güngör Sönmezalp took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Fabio Jöhl to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute Sadri Süleymanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Jöhl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güngör Sönmezalp took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Jöhl. Fabio Jöhl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Eduardo Garceau kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Finnegan FC's Fabio Jöhl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Finnegan FC from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the game, Sadri Süleymanoğlu lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Fabio Jöhl. When Edmonton Saray's Sadri Süleymanoğlu in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finnegan FC's goalie prevented a goal. Finnegan FC's Fabio Jöhl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Finnegan FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Chadwick Doherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sadri Süleymanoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmonton Saray's Kerem Aktürkoglu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Finnegan FC defense, Meng Zhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Jöhl. The Finnegan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Jöhl should have stopped the shot. Fabio Jöhl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sadri Süleymanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sadri Süleymanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fabio Jöhl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Edmonton Saray's Sadri Süleymanoğlu made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Jöhl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lyman Dean hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Kerem Aktürkoglu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadri Süleymanoğlu in the 83rd minute of play forced Finnegan FC's goalkeeper Fabio Jöhl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Finnegan FC's zone, Kerem Aktürkoglu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Jöhl came out of the goal and Kerem Aktürkoglu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sadri Süleymanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Edmonton Saray's Lyman Dean got a free kick in the 87th minute. Chadwick Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Finnegan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kerem Aktürkoglu came free, but Fabio Jöhl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmonton Saray walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
