Mack Holley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Jöhl having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Finnegan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Lebel came free, but Fabio Jöhl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Vauquelin CN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denver Ruff to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Vauquelin CN's Damon Vernadeau got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vauquelin CN's zone, Quintin Browning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lou Bergman came out of the goal and Quintin Browning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lou Bergman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quintin Browning's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Chadwick Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lou Bergman made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Chadwick Doherty sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quintin Browning in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lou Bergman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vauquelin CN's goalkeeper Lou Bergman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chadwick Doherty struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Lou Bergman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finnegan FC. In the 39th minute, Quintin Browning fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lou Bergman, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Vauquelin CN's zone, Chadwick Doherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lou Bergman came out of the goal and Chadwick Doherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Finnegan FC's attack was well implemented in the 44th minute, but when Quintin Browning was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Chadwick Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Lebel to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Quintin Browning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lou Bergman. Vauquelin CN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quintin Browning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Eduardo Garceau came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Finnegan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Garceau couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Vauquelin CN's goal looked a bit too open when Chadwick Doherty came free, but Lou Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lou Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Deniger, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Lou Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chadwick Doherty in the 66th minute of play. Chadwick Doherty scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lou Bergman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lou Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chadwick Doherty in the 72nd minute of the match. Chadwick Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quintin Browning blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lou Bergman having to make a save.
