Minerul Anina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Napoleon Zdrojewski helped the player get up and apologised. Napoleon Zdrojewski kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored Crimson Knights's protests and gave Leonard Martinaș a yellow card for diving instead. Leonard Martinaș hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Terence Cowan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Forrest Sousa went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Diest in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludwig Jetzek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, A.S. Minerul Anina's Terence Cowan threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hisham Mumtaz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 91 played minutes A.S. Minerul Anina got a freekick which was hit by Kutilagesa Sahni. After having played for 95 minutes, Forrest Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Minerul Anina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Forrest Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Crimson Knights had won after a very even match.
