Kheiron Kouropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Piszczor in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Arruaca's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Beaud came free, but Pavel Tushkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Summerland FC's Brooks Hagen got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Brooks Hagen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pavel Tushkov. After a defensive mix-up in Arruaca's zone, Charly Beaud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Tushkov came out of the goal and Charly Beaud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pavel Tushkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walton Pichette in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Summerland FC were awarded a corner. Amédée Tracy went to the cornerflag to take it. Summerland FC's Kheiron Kouropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Piszczor in the 40th minute of play. Kheiron Kouropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Piszczor, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Summerland FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Craig Jimenez hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Summerland FC's Laverne Wesley got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Brooks Hagen in the 70th minute of play forced Arruaca's goalkeeper Pavel Tushkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Summerland FC made a substitution. Heinrich Augsburg replaced Amédée Tracy. Summerland FC's Perry Brooks was substituted for Walton Pichette. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arruaca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Heinrich Augsburg was slow to take the kick. During this time Summerland FC's players had a chance to rest. Charly Beaud was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arruaca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
