Spectators: 9298 (Terracing: 6975, Seating: 2138, VIP seats: 185) CFR Sibiu's Cristo Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Beaud in the 3rd minute of play. When Summerland FC's Brooks Hagen in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CFR Sibiu's goalie prevented a goal. Cristo Nofre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charly Beaud's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. If Costel Novăceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Novăceanu in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kheiron Kouropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Summerland FC were awarded a corner. Amédée Tracy went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Amédée Tracy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CFR Sibiu's Cristo Nofre did a great save. Kheiron Kouropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rod Tobin in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brooks Hagen in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Nofre saved CFR Sibiu from getting behind. When Devin Gill fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Summerland FC's protests and gave Devin Gill a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CFR Sibiu booed when Summerland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devin Gill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kheiron Kouropoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Novăceanu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Summerland FC's Walton Pichette made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristo Nofre was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 minutes, Costel Novăceanu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Summerland FC's Kheiron Kouropoulos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Charly Beaud took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Nofre. Cristo Nofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Novăceanu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kheiron Kouropoulos saved Summerland FC from getting behind. In the 46th minute of the match CFR Sibiu got a corner. Summerland FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hipólito Zambujal ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hipólito Zambujal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kheiron Kouropoulos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in CFR Sibiu's zone, Walton Pichette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Nofre came out of the goal and Walton Pichette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Novăceanu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Tobin in the 51st minute of play forced Summerland FC's goalkeeper Kheiron Kouropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brooks Hagen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Cristo Nofre made a huge save. Cristo Nofre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charly Beaud's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Kheiron Kouropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavies Bedoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brooks Hagen in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Nofre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Marcos Caron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Summerland FC made a substitution. Heinrich Augsburg replaced Amédée Tracy. Summerland FC's Perry Brooks was substituted for Walton Pichette. A collision led to Summerland FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marcos Caron hit a great ball. Rod Tobin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooks Hagen in the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brooks Hagen in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Nofre saved CFR Sibiu from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Summerland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Novăceanu came free, but Kheiron Kouropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Summerland FC's Brooks Hagen in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CFR Sibiu's goalie prevented a goal. Cristo Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Brooks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CFR Sibiu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Brooks Hagen scored to the left of an out of position Cristo Nofre, making the score, 1-4. Cristo Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brooks Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Brooks Hagen notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of CFR Sibiu's Cristo Nofre. Cristo Nofre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costel Novăceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Kheiron Kouropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Summerland FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
