After 40 minutes of play, NDG Fury FC's Ómar Sharif made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludwig Jetzek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Collin Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Chauncey Veilleux hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, A.S. Minerul Anina's Mattias Brandt made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wallace Magee was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ómar Sharif made the kick off in the second half. Ludwig Jetzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ómar Sharif in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes A.S. Minerul Anina got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Vander. Ludwig Jetzek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chet Cho, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ómar Sharif in the 89th minute of play forced A.S. Minerul Anina's goalkeeper Ludwig Jetzek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NDG Fury FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
