But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that La 李义南 couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Bermudez came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Persepolis F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haywood Michael was slow to take the kick. During this time PUKOHAS FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led PUKOHAS FC's Haywood Michael to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Perez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PUKOHAS FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Persepolis F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
