Spectators: 9209 (Terracing: 6909, Seating: 2117, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Royal Pain started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Spondin AFC's zone, Royal Pain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeffrey Griggs came out of the goal and Royal Pain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Spondin AFC's Wes Lyles got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 8 minutes, Gervais Becerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spondin AFC and the Leader FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Royal Pain got free with Jeffrey Griggs in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Spondin AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Johnathan Marois fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Huard in the 15th minute of play forced Leader FC's goalkeeper Alim Doğangün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alim Doğangün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervais Becerra in the 18th minute of play. Spondin AFC's Wes Lyles got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeffrey Griggs made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Royal Pain sent off a good shot on target. Johnathan Marois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clair Viens hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Clair Viens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spondin AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clair Viens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alim Doğangün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Georges Huard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wes Lyles was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Huard in the 51st minute of play forced Leader FC's goalkeeper Alim Doğangün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Leader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Georges Huard came free, but Alim Doğangün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Griggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Lamare in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Spondin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Royal Pain came free, but Jeffrey Griggs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Griggs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leader FC's Terrence Arthur was substituted for Royal Pain. Terrence Arthur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jeffrey Griggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jules Patenaude hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Terrence Arthur took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeffrey Griggs. Jeffrey Griggs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Spondin AFC's Jeffrey Griggs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Lamare in the 85th minute of play. With his leg Alim Doğangün managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Spondin AFC's Wes Lyles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leader FC's Alim Doğangün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Huard in the 92nd minute of play.
