With a little luck, Toronto United's Kauã Paranaense got control of the ball when La 李义南 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 played minutes PUKOHAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Manni. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Güngör Yüce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toronto United's supporters rose to their feet, but Güngör Yüce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chung Green breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Morgan Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PUKOHAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toronto United the free kick. Morgan Bermudez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. La 李义南's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kauã Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Lou Walker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Haywood Michael made a precise shot to the right of Kauã Paranaense. Toronto United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Kauã Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haywood Michael in the 37th minute of the match. Haywood Michael who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Kauã Paranaense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lou Walker scored 1-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chung Green, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Gong Bin Ming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chung Green showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elwood Keys, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Eleazar was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo Eleazar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 53rd playminute. Elwood Keys kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Chung Green made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Fitzgerald in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Elwood Keys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chung Green saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, PUKOHAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lin Cheng Yao to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Eleazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lou Walker in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chung Green prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abraham Fitzgerald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Chung Green made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Eleazar in the 69th minute of play forced PUKOHAS FC's goalkeeper Chung Green to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toronto United's Elwood Keys got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Morgan Bermudez hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Chung Green took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kauã Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Bermudez in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Toronto United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ignác Pucheli hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-4 when La 李义南 sped through Toronto United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kauã Paranaense. If Lou Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Toronto United's Rodolfo Eleazar in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PUKOHAS FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 minutes PUKOHAS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Güngör Yüce who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Abelardo Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot. PUKOHAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Manni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toronto United's Kauã Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haywood Michael in the 94th minute of play. Güngör Yüce hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Cesaire Querry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Toronto United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Toronto United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
