Carlos Whitmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Crook in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Leader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Aupry came free, but Alim Doğangün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Stjohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alim Doğangün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Trent Lamare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Whitmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Carlos Whitmore successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 38th minute of the match, Royal Pain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Whitmore was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carlos Whitmore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Crook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Whitmore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Royal Pain in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Leader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Stjohn came free, but Alim Doğangün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Royal Pain succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 46th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Carlos Whitmore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Royal Pain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Quebec city FC defense, Trent Lamare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Whitmore. The Quebec city FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Whitmore should have stopped the shot. Quebec city FC's Carlos Whitmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Lamare in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Hillman got free with Alim Doğangün in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Leader FC booed when Quebec city FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leader FC's Terrence Arthur was substituted for Royal Pain. Reynaldo Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Trent Lamare sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Whitmore skillfully saved the ball. When Jerry Champagne fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leader FC's protests and gave Jerry Champagne a yellow card for diving instead. Jerry Champagne hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
