Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sébastien Hodges made a kick off. A hard shot by Andy Olson from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Elton Kilgore's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 94 minutes, 谢皓亮 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's supporters crossed their fingers, but 谢皓亮 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
