Spectators: 9337 (Terracing: 7004, Seating: 2148, VIP seats: 185) Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vancouver Reds's Toussaint Alvarez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sabin Bălcescu in the 2 minute of the game. In the 4th minute, Macnelly Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Macnelly Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Béla Simon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Macnelly Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Béla Simon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Macnelly Torres's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gasca Nebuna's 温超适 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Omar Duardo. That made the score 1-2 after 18 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the match, Gasca Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Macnelly Torres came free, but Béla Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, 温超适 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Omar Duardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 温超适 in the 23rd minute of play. Béla Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 26th minute of play. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Arruda in the 28th minute of play. Sabin Bălcescu got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tales Arruda. 33 minutes into the match, Gasca Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Macnelly Torres came free, but Béla Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Gasca Nebuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenton Mercure to maneuver through the defense. Béla Simon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolás Castillo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when 温超适 got free with Omar Duardo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Béla Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macnelly Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Erenay Acarsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasca Nebuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erenay Acarsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when 温超适 came free, but Omar Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, 温超适 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Duardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 温超适 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Omar Duardo made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 温超适 to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Nicolás Castillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vancouver Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gasca Nebuna the free kick. Vancouver Reds's Pang Jun was substituted for Luca Frântu. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Amédée Gillis replaced Billy Oja. In the 63rd minute Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner. Pang Jun went to the cornerflag to take it. Toussaint Alvarez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenton Mercure in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Macnelly Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Macnelly Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Guo Ke Peng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Macnelly Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Béla Simon. Gasca Nebuna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Macnelly Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. If Guo Ke Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Duardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macnelly Torres in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Béla Simon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gasca Nebuna's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Guo Ke Peng 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Matos in the 86th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Tales Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Béla Simon managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erenay Acarsoy in the 93rd minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gasca Nebuna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vancouver Reds's performance. The match ended with a win for Vancouver Reds.
