Eliodor Şteflea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Melchor Elija made a huge save. Norberto Beckman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Melchor Elija skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 27 minutes into the match, Sunnyvale FC's goalkeeper Melchor Elija had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliodor Şteflea. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Beckman in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Elija saved Sunnyvale FC from getting behind. The supporters of Sunnyvale FC booed when Inter 1908 Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jospeh Heller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Elija was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliodor Şteflea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francesco Di Lillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jospeh Heller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mehmet Emin Yağınalp came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Inter 1908 Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Emin Yağınalp couldn't finish the play. Melchor Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Şteflea, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Emin Yağınalp in the 81st minute of play forced Sunnyvale FC's goalkeeper Melchor Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Inter 1908 Milan getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jospeh Heller hit a great ball.
