In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves's Alain Laird played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sal Leal in the 5th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Grace. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves's goalkeeper Alain Laird, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 minutes of play, DOE FC's Garfield Tovar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alain Laird was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves booed when DOE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guadalupe Ennis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alain Laird made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garfield Tovar in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves's goalkeeper Alain Laird had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Vasco. When Mazinho Vasco got free in front of the goal in the 18th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Alain Laird was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Sal Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 27 played minutes Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves got a freekick which was hit by Bret Chicoine. Mazinho Vasco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 28th playminute. The audience was convinced that Mazinho Vasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alain Laird was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Mazinho Vasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Alain Laird made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves's goalkeeper Alain Laird had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marquis Frank. In the 37th minute, Marquis Frank left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 43rd minute Antwan Gallagher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Laird saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Alain Laird successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steven Siegel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazinho Vasco in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alain Laird prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When DOE FC's Mazinho Vasco in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, DOE FC's Kirk Lafond got control of the ball when Steven Siegel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Rich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquis Frank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Laird having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jame Williamson to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd match minute, Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Longoria to maneuver through the defense. Alain Laird took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler Bowser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of DOE FC booed when Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Rich didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Garfield Tovar notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Jim Carrey Soccer Slaves's Alain Laird. Alain Laird was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sal Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alain Laird having to make a save. Steven Siegel hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Alain Laird showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antwan Gallagher in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the DOE FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
