The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazinho Vasco during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. DOE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jagiellonia Denver the free kick. Pons Looney hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Kirk Lafond acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sun Lin. Jagiellonia Denver were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after DOE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sun Lin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Jagiellonia Denver's corner Sun Lin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kirk Lafond quite easily take care of the ball. With an all-out effort, Jagiellonia Denver's Kirk Lafond threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 蔡伟洲, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Viorel Olaru kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garfield Tovar in the 21st minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jagiellonia Denver's Florence Diaz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DOE FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tyler Bowser in the 26th minute. 30 minutes in the game, Michal Majdoch fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kirk Lafond having to interfere. Kirk Lafond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Majdoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Michal Majdoch hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Marquis Frank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eric Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Hélio Donatello rounded DOE FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to DOE FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Guadalupe Ennis hit a great ball. Kirk Lafond came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Jagiellonia Denver's Florence Diaz. But to his dismay, Florence Diaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. Özalp Durkaya replaced Sun Lin. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mazinho Vasco was the one to do the kick off. Hélio Donatello scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kirk Lafond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélio Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirk Lafond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Majdoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Hélio Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirk Lafond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolae Costa in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kirk Lafond saved DOE FC from getting behind. A collision led to DOE FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tyler Bowser hit a great ball. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. Venceslas Borizar replaced Nicolae Costa. Jagiellonia Denver's Rudolf Garreau was substituted for Michal Majdoch. In the 73rd minute, Tyler Bowser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Donatello in the 74th minute of play forced DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Rudolf Garreau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirk Lafond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Jagiellonia Denver were awarded a corner. Per-Olof Åkesson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Per-Olof Åkesson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DOE FC's Kirk Lafond did a great save. Marquis Frank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirk Lafond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Garreau in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Per-Olof Åkesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jagiellonia Denver fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Eric Gary made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Mazinho Vasco sent off a good shot on target. DOE FC's Kirk Lafond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Donatello in the 91st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Yann McKinney in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jagiellonia Denver's Özalp Durkaya. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Garreau in the 94th minute of play forced DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jagiellonia Denver's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
