Caio Silveira made a great header on Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's corner, it was just that Varennes's Gilberto Boone managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 16th minute Antony Bruno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Boone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Modesto Oakley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Gracias a la Pelota - DAM from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Modesto Oakley got control of the ball when Seth Luke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Modesto Oakley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Seth Luke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. The throw-in from Donovan Nash in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Reinaldo Diniz. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antony Bruno might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Boone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antony Bruno ran back to his position shaking his head. After 43 played minutes Gracias a la Pelota - DAM got a freekick which was hit by 袁坤烽. The throw-in from Donovan Nash in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's 袁坤烽. After the first half Gracias a la Pelota - DAM were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurice Odonnell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Oakley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antony Bruno. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM made a substitution. Savion Labra replaced Nicodème Lamoureux. Varennes's Titus Pineda was substituted for Bernardo Goudreau. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Varennes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Varennes's Gilberto Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Silveira in the 72nd minute of play. Modesto Oakley came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Varennes's Maurice Odonnell. But to his dismay, Maurice Odonnell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Sylvester Grubbs was substituted for Lewis Hamilton. After 80 played minutes Gracias a la Pelota - DAM got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Ciuvică. Hong Mosher made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Tony Nanuk. Kazimierz Boniek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Boone having to interfere. Kazimierz Bonieks short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Gilberto Boone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gilberto Boone made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Kazimierz Boniek sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes in the game, Caio Silveira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gilberto Boone having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
