Josiah Ferland was slow to take the kick. During this time Toronto Marlies FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Josiah Ferland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Modesto Oakley quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 13th minute, Fatsali Bedirhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caio Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anfilogino Amicone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Toronto Marlies FC's Gerard Pique managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adolf Hitchcock in the 19 minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Toronto Marlies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Diniz came free, but Anfilogino Amicone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Toronto Marlies FC's zone, Caio Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto James didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Bucur came free, but Modesto Oakley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Josiah Ferland who took care of the corner kick.
